Recycling at St Mary’s, Olveson

Did you know we collect items that can be recycled for charity? Why not drop off your items and join us for coffee on a Thursday morning between 10 and 12 pm? We’d love you to join us.
Take along DENTAL WASTE, WRITING INSTRUMENTS and PLASTIC MILK BOTTLE TOPS to St Mary’s, Olveston and place them in the large brown storage box outside of the Church porch on the left side (beside the bike stands). We accept the following items:
DENTAL WASTE
ACCEPTED: Any brand of floss containers, plastic toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and caps, electric and battery toothbrush heads, any plastic or carton outer packaging for toothbrushes and toothpaste
Not accepted: Interdental brushes, battery-operated toothbrushes, dental floss/string, mouthwash plastic bottles, breath sprays, denture tubes, toothpaste pumps, toothache kits.
WRITING INSTRUMENTS
ACCEPTED: Any brand of pens, felt tips, highlighters, markers, mechanical pencils, correction tape and fluid pots, fountain pens and ink cartridges.
Not Accepted: Wooden pencils, crayons, glue sticks, rubbers and rulers.
PLASTIC MILK BOTTLE TOPS
ACCEPTED: Washed plastic milk bottle tops of any colour.
Not accepted: any other type of plastic bottle tops.
