WHAT’S ON AT OLVESTON & TOCKINGTON METHODIST CHURCHES

Thank you to all who came along and supported Community Coffee tea and cakes on Easter Monday in the Chapel and on the Green as the weather was so beautiful. We are delighted that £550 was raised towards our ongoing running costs. Thank you to everyone who helped to make it such a lovely afternoon.

Fundaising for our ongoing running costs Friday 24th April Fish and Chip QUIZ £15 each for fish and chips or veggie chilli jacket potato, includes a mini ice cream. Olveston Parish Hall. Teams of up to 6 people. Raising funds for the ongoing running costs of our Church. Please let Jane know if you would like to come.

CREAM TEAS
Bank Holiday Monday 25th May
Cream Teas are back! We will be serving our famous Cream Teas and delicious cakes on Tockington Green on Bank Holiday Monday between 2.00 and 4.30pm. Bring your family and friends along to enjoy this special village event. There will be gluten free, dairy free and vegan treats too, plus decaff drink options and plant milk available – just ask. Cash or card payments accepted and you can take away as well. We will be there, come rain or shine! All proceeds will go towards the running costs of Olveston and Tockington Methodist Church.

On Sunday 14th June at 3pm there will be a Valedictory service in Olveston Methodist Chapel to mark the closing of our worship in this place.
The service will be followed by refreshments. Any offers of help with donation of cakes would be most welcome.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Cream Tea on the Green on Bank Holiday Monday it was a huge success. Thank you to the Guides who helped us have such great afternoon raising funds for their international adventure.
